Edie Sedgwick – the tragic story of a 60’s muse
Socialite, actress, model, and muse. Andy Warhol his muse to be specific. The life and style of Edie Sedgwick inspired me to write a article about her today.
Ocher – 50’s inspired sweater top
When I stumbled upon this ocher fabric in the local fabric shop, I immediately thought of making a 50’s inspired top. These days, crop tops are very on trend. But because I don’t have the stomach of a 5 year old, I decided to lengthen and widen the top. It has become one of my favorite sweater tops, easy to match with skirts and trousers. I just love the pattern on the fabric. The color matches the fall leaves that begin to appear in the trees, that is why I headed to the park with my friend Britt Huiskes, to shoot the photo’s!
