Good things come in two’s – Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

Hi there! Today, I wanted to post an article about a fashionable set of sisters, who have inspired me since I was little. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Former child/teen movie stars, and nowadays designers of the huge successful fashion brand The Row. These sisters have a great eye for fashion and upcoming trends. Outfits I saw them wearing a couple of years ago, which were not understandable at the time, are now very on trend. So I’m keeping an eye on these twins!

Magic in the Moonlight – inspirational fashion in film

A couple of weeks ago, I went to the movies with my mother. She wanted to see the new Woody Allen movie, Magic in the Moonlight. And wow, didn’t that movie blow away my mind!

The movie is set in the 1920’s, in the south of France. Colin Firth, who plays Stanley, is a famous illusionist who is hired to investigate a paranormal gifted girl called Sophie, played by Emma Stone. I do not want to give away the plot, because I absolutely think you should see this movie for yourself! And no, it is not a scary movie about paranormal activity, it is a romantic comedy filled with the most beautiful locations, clothing and landscapes. I love, love the sweet pastel colored dresses, the retro bathing suits and the gorgeous gardens where they shoot some of the scenes. I also adore the way Woody Allen shot the movie, it has a very slow and relaxed pace, but it is still interesting. The chemistry between Stone and Firth is very exciting! The movie pretty much represents the pace of the southern of France. Now the days are getting shorter and colder, I can dream away when I look at these pictures from the movie! Oh, take me back to those summer days.
